1.4 Connected Social Media Accounts
If you connect a social media account to the Service (including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X / Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, or others we support), we receive the data and permissions you authorize during the connection. Depending on the platform, this may include your public profile information (name, handle, photo, headline, public profile URL, account ID), email address, the ability to publish content on your behalf, the ability to publish to pages or accounts you administer, and engagement metrics on content you publish through the Service.
We never receive your password, your private messages, or your contact graph. We use connected platform data only to deliver features you authorize.
You can disconnect any platform at any time in your account settings, or directly with the platform itself. For example:

On disconnection, we delete cached profile data within 30 days and stop further API calls immediately.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To process transactions and send billing-related communications.
To communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support messages.

We use third-party AI providers to power AI features. These providers do not train their models on your data, and CreatorMate does not use your content or connected social media data to train any AI model. Connected social media data, including LinkedIn member data, is used solely to deliver features you authorize and is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used to train AI.
3. How We Share Your Information
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
We share information with third-party vendors who assist us in operating the Service (e.g. payment processors, hosting providers, AI providers, and analytics services.
We transmit content and related data to social media platforms when you publish or take actions you authorize.
We disclose information when required by law, in response to subpoenas or legal process, or to protect our rights and property.
We share information with anyone you explicitly authorize.
We may transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where your data may be transferred to the new owner.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest, access controls with multi-factor authentication for staff, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

CreatorMate is based in the European Union. Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Where personal data leaves the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your information.
7. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child, we will take steps to delete it.
